Back Pain Relief Exercises | 20 Minutes | No Equipment | Back Pain Exercises at Home for Men & Women
This 20 minute class consists of a lot of the back pain relief exercises I do with my 1:1 clients when they have been referred to me to me with back pain. When practising these back pain exercises at home there are 2 things to think about. In this order: 1) Stabilise the area - which means core stability. If you have lower back pain it also means pelvic stability as well and if you have upper back pain it also means shoulder stability too. 2) Mobilise - once stable you need to improve the range of motion above and below the painful area and then the painful area itself. Improving back pain once and for all can be a bit of a process (depending on how long you've had it) however practice getting these moves perfectly correct and you will exercise your way out of back pain. Welcome to the 3 part ab series. This is the first sequence of three that will help you strengthen your core and slim your waist. In part 1\3 where we begin to wake up and become aware of the entire core line from the feet to the head. It's perfect for a core workout for beginners or if needing to rebuild your core after any injury. It's also my go to for times I need to really connect in to my body. Ab Workout Series pt 2/3. The exercises get harder and there are cues that build on part 1 plus extra explanations on how to keep your form in tip top shape as you build your core strength and get your flat tummy and slim waist. do this one too. It will burn but it's not without care to your neck and hips. We don't want sore necks when we work our abs! Equally if you feel you can handle more you could bundle 2 or 3 of this series together. Welcome to part 3/3 of the ab workout series. It's the most complex of the 3, great for intermediates and advanced movers. Remember when doing this ab workout at home to always keep your form and stay curious about how you can make it better, deeper and longer lasting. Each part is 10 minutes long so if you wanted a full 30 minute session for your core you can bundle these 3 together. I start with a roll down on everyone to warm your spine up and finish with a belly bash at the end to push along residual lactic acid - you definitely want to get rid of that! Welcome to the ultimate Pilates for Beginners class. I use this template time and time again when I encounter new students. It's 30 minutes because all beginners should take some extra time getting to know their body and how it moves. Your results come from 'getting the movement right' rather than ticking it off a check list. I've given extra explanations during this video to really help prompt where to move from within your body. This class can also be a good 'back to basics' for those who haven't exercises for a while and need a little ease back in. I often use this class as my go to on days where my energy is low but I know I've to got do something! This class can be done 4 times a week in the learning phase.
